On October 29th 2014, enjoy a night of comedy with some of Australia’s most popular and versatile stand-up comedians and help Lifestart raise vital funds for children with disabilities, research and support services. There couldn’t be an easier way to help make a difference. Simply gather together your friends and colleagues or buy a ticket for the whole family and join us at The Harold Park Hotel in Glebe for a night to remember.
Be entertained by Dave Williams, Sam Bowring and a Special Guest from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Tickers are only $40.00 and the laughs start at 7pm.
In 1996 eight families and supporters came together with a vision to create a program focused on the needs and priorities of families of children with disabilities. They wanted choice and involvement in their child’s program and with a small amount of funding from the then Department of Ageing and Disability, the group established the first Lifestart program in a single classroom at Turramurra Public School and now the foundation does everything in it’s power to create special events for the publics enjoyment whilst raising awareness for the issues that can affect us all.
So gather around and let out a belly laugh and together we will do all we can for children living with a disability.
