Fratelli Fresh Ushers in Warmer Weather with New Menu

The Fratelli team has bolstered its much-loved Italian offerings with light, new additions served with splashes of lemon and white wine, a sprinkling of herbs and showcasing stunning seafood in homage to the seasonal shift and warmer, sunnier climes.
“We’ve lightened things up a little, while retaining some firm Fratelli favourites such as our irresistible Zucchini Flowers stuffed with 5 Italian cheeses and our lovely Arancini with talegio and mixed herbs,” said Culinary Director Martin Heierling.
“New additions include a selection of cured meats from family-owned Salumi Australia which I’d rate as one of the very best artisanal providers in Australia; Chilli and Lobster Paccheri which is a perfect balance of sweet lobster, chilli heat and perfumed basil; and a simple house-made Ricotta Ravioli tossed with passata and fresh basil and topped with premium Vacche Rosse Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy.”
Other menu highlights include Black Cod al cartoccio, which is cooked in a paper parcel infusing the fish with the aromas and flavours of lemon, tomato, artichoke, dill and olives; a simple Prawn Spaghetti in a Napolitano sauce with chilli; and Grilled Chicken with Radicchio, mixed baby greens, almonds and lemon and currant vinaigrette, which joins a selection of salads.
Customers are also encouraged to usher in spring at Fratelli’s Aperitivo Hour from 3pm-6pm daily at all venues. Enjoy half price Negroni ($7.50) on tap, $5 house wine and beers and $10 Spritzers, which can be paired with made-to-order Pizzas for just $15 (usually $16-$25).
