 There is a cocktail to suit every persona with Waterslide’s new winter cocktail menu. Find your perfect match and snap away at the Insta-worthy concoctions including the ‘Social Smoker’, overflowing with winter warmth. The ‘Social Smoker’ features a stiff blend of rums steeped in roasted and spiced pineapple, stirred down and smothered in pecan smoke.

HOPHAUS – Fleisch Festival

A German Meat Festival in the heart of Melbourne

 Roasted, fried, seared and skewered! This Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend Hophaus are hosting their very first SausageFest to celebrate the Wurst (and all other cuts meat).

Join the all you can eat meat feast with a selection of German Tap Biers and Wine for only $60 per person. 

Feast on mini Bratwurst & Kransky sausages served canapé style in buns, lamb and chicken skewers, pulled pork buns, beef sliders, Bitterballen and lamb ribs. TUTTO BENE – Risotto Masterclass – For over a decade, Melbourne’s beloved risotteria, Tutto Bene, has been Melbourne’s go-to for the best risotto. In a rare event, they are sharing their secrets. Head Chef Nathan Scarfo will divulge all his tips and tricks and show you how to perfect this popular winter staple. Learn about the right rice to use (clue: it’s not Arborio, and they’ll let you try his preparation of both to prove the difference), the truth behind much debated cooking methods and how to choose your ingredients. You’ll also learn how to match your risotto with the perfect wine. Then all your learning will pay off with a two-course meal to follow. Everything’s good!

HOPHAUS – Christmas in July Winter Weekend

 Why wait until December?  Join in on the festivities on Sunday 23 July for P.J.O’Brien’s Christmas in July. For $38pp you will get a two course Traditional Christmas Festive Menu including a drink and just $15 for the Little Ones, including a soft drink and an activity pack.  There will be live Irish Music plus a Special Santa Appearance.

Opera lovers rejoice! This is a night is for you. La Camera’s Three Sopranos Night is back for another year, bringing together an amazing group of performers from Opera Australia and the Royal College of Music International Opera School in London.

Join Samantha D’uren, Laura Slavin, Suzanne Shakespeare and Katrina Noela in a sensational night of entertainment as you wine and dine and take in the mesmerising sounds the talented opera singers. PURE SOUTH DINING – BAR + KITCHEN opens downstairs

Pure South Dining has been a fine dining institution for 13 years. Following their recent renovation and expansion over two levels, the river level of the restaurant has now been reimagined as P.S. Bar + Kitchen.

In what may be the best people-watching spot in the city, P.S. Bar + Kitchen is situated on the river level opposite the Southgate foot bridge overlooking the Yarra River, Melbourne city and promenade. The all-day-eatery is the more casual version of its fine dining sister upstairs. P.S. Bar + Kitchen is the answer to unplanned eating and drinking at anytime, whilst still showcasing the same Tasmanian produce that Pure South Dining is renowned for. The menu ranges from breakfast and lunch to afternoon snacks and dinner.

Pure South’s Phillip Kennedy says of the space, “Tens of thousands plod by the huge open window-walls through the week, but the weekend vibe kicks it up a gear. We are loving the changing moods of the space throughout the day.”
