GPO Grand will do all of the hard work for you with the service provided free of any additional fees or charges, promising a spectacularly memorable experience at every step of the way.

Indulge at Prime Restaurant and share a 1.5kg grain fed Tomahawk steak with your lover or enjoy a three course cheese and wine pairing experience at GPO Cheese and Wine Room. Valentine’s Day has its origin in Italy and our romantic al fresco dining options at Intermezzo will make you feel like you’re in Rome, or soak in some Spanish flair at Postales guaranteed to impress your special someone.

Sydney’s most awarded and exclusive steak restaurant, located within a timeless sandstone vault in the heritage GPO building. Prime offers the most extensive a la carte steak menu in the world and over 350 premium varieties of wine. Adorned with dim-lighting, white-clothed tables, curtained arches and oversized wine glasses, this elegant grill room is the perfect setting for your special occasion. A la carte menu available with Amuse Bouche followed by two or three courses per person.

Intermezzo Ristorante

Sydney’s ultimate Italian dining destination, with al fresco seating overlooking Martin Place, sophisticated dining under the GPO building’s eight-story glass atrium and an elegant heritage front room. Let Italy come to you at Sydney’s best Italian Restaurant, with traditional Italian cuisine and white-jacketed waiters complementing the Italian Renaissance architecture of the historic GPO Building. Two courses priced at $80 per person, or $95 per person for three courses.

Postales Restaurant

Awarded Australia’s Best Tapas Restaurant by the Restaurant & Catering Association for 2015, Postales is Sydney’s most elegant Spanish restaurant offering authentic Spanish cuisine and wine. Indulge in traditional tapas, housemade paella, churros, sangria and Spanish wine in a relaxed, romantic setting. Two courses priced at $70 per person, or $85 per person for three courses.

GPO Cheese & Wine Room

Sydney’s ‘Temple of Cheese’, GPO Cheese & Wine Room was recently awarded Sydney’s Best Wine Bar by the Restaurant & Catering Association, offering signature cheese fondues, cheese and wine flights, European-inspired mains and a choice of over 100 seasonal cheeses and 250 international wines. With its timeless sandstone walls, terrazzo floors and sophisticated ambience, this unique artisan cellar is a haven for cheese and wine lovers. Two courses priced at $62 per person, or $75 per person for three courses. Two courses with matching wines priced at $90 per person, or $110 per person for three courses.

Subterranean Bar & Grill

Subterranean’s underground tavern-style dining room features an open kitchen with sandstone walls which have been untouched in over 100 years, making for a unique Mediterranean dining experience. Enjoy traditional Greek delicacies from the BBQ grill, fresh seafood and authentic Greek desserts. Two courses priced at $48 per person, or $58 per person for three courses.
