Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror capturing the fear and tension
evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an
atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable,
ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows.
Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise
solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply
stay alive. Alien: Isolation will be available in late 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbox

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is expected to launch its newest major
content patch titled ‘Through The Maelstrom’ on the May 27 2014. The patch
contains a number of gameplay additions including an all new scenario
to journey through, more missions and side quests, a brand new dungeon
and raid to explore, a new Primal to defeat and added gear appearance
customization! A huge addition to the games already large content on offer,
FFXIV:ARR Patch 2.2 is expected to make big waves when it hits at the end of
March 2014.


At the start of March Watch Dogs was officially announced to be released
on May 27 by developer and publisher Ubisoft. Whilst this is still scheduled
to go ahead, the Australian Classification Board recently announced that the
classification for the game to be changed from MA15+ to R18+. The game
will not have any content removed.


Respawn Entertainment and EA Australia’s Titanfall launched its Australian
based servers on March 14 2014 –albeit still in beta stage. The server status
has been reported as good, the connection stable and the pings low. The
local servers are available on both the PC and Xbox One versions of the
game, and expected for release on Xbox 360 on March 28.

Killzone: Shadow Fall developers Guerilla Games announced their first major
expansion pack in the first week of March. The Insurgency Pack adds an all
new class, weapons and abilities whilst adding an extra difficulty level for the
single player campaign. To celebrate the announcement they also released 2
new maps for multiplayer.

State of Decay developers Undead Labs made the announcement for an all
new DLC for their game. Although a formal announcement date hasn’t been
set, anticipations are high with news of an all new city to explore and search
on your quest to find more survivors and build a safezone against the zombie
plague.


Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet finally released their latest major content
update for their popular MMORPG. The Battle for Lion’s Arch tasks players
with taking back one of the games major player hubs from the villainous
Scarlet Briar. Featuring an all new story arc, epic boss battles, new armor
and weapons and more, this update is sure to have kept GW2 fans and
players busy throughout the month of March.
