I have always been a generation behind when it came to gaming. While my friends played Playstation 2 and Xbox, I was playing RTS games on my parents computer. While everyone was playing the latest Call of Duty on the PS3 or Xbox 360, I was playing game on my PS2. It was always just a fun casual experience for me, right up till my teenage years. I discovered a little FPS game from the 90s called Doom. Little 11 years old Ben was hooked. That is where my gaming obsession begun, over the next few years after I brought my PS3, I found myself playing so many different games such as, Assassins Creed, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Mass Effect just to name a few. I discovered that not only are video games a great, fun way to pass the time, but also they have so much potential as a storytelling medium. And after doing a course in media and Journalism, I discovered a passion for writing and also production. I also love making and editing videos, and if I could combine these passions with games And with plenty of Magazines, TV shows and online videos and blogs out there focused on Video Games. Combining my passions for media and games together would be my dream career for the future.
