I am writing in response to your advertisement on Indeed’s website about an opportunity as a Social Media Enthusiast and feel that my interests and work ethics fit the requirements of the position, thus I would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce myself and demonstrate my interest in this position.

My name is Deshi Karunarathne and I can officially say that growing up in a generation that communicates and is focused around social media, I have not only experience in the online world but it comes second nature to me.

In the past I have been the social media ambassador and promoter for; Barbas and Zacri watches, Coffee Scouts, Hailey Paige Flowers. Also cafes in Melbourne such as “Shortstop” use my photos to as Advertising for their brand, as seen attached.

I take pride in online content that is both appealing to viewers/customers and beneficial in the development and growth of a brand.

In 2016 I was my high school’s (John Monash Science School) Media and Communication Captain, this gave me experience in managing social media platforms for the school as well as making videos and content.

Being the chief editor and the writer of the school Yearbook, I have learnt to be adaptable to different task, focus throughout, and never failed to meet a deadline. I can think quick on my feet and work great under pressure, ensuring that only the best comes out of my work whether it is in a team or independently. I am easily motivated and work well with people. I am a quick learner who is reliable and a hard worker. I pay attention to detail and have great problem solving skills.

I believe that my previous experience and knowledge, excellent communication skills, highly organized manner, motivation, and positive work ethic would make me an asset to this brand.
