Bio

Hello Australia Times,

** I’ve applied on-line via Indeed.com but it looks like the resume hasn’t uploaded properly, so I’ve sent it again below.

I’m a freelance speech therapist and counsellor in private practice. I originally trained in Fine Art and then Visual Communications, at Ealing College in West London, where I studied computer graphics, photography, journalism and digital design. I had placements as a junior reporter, then went into graphic design.

I volunteer at my local theatre in Mordialloc and am currently studying freelance journalism through Open Colleges. I write on-line pieces as requests for blogs, mainly around language development, but I’d like to expand on that. I also write and present training courses for parents and students.

I would love to work for you in any capacity with your on-line magazine, but especially to develop my skills in research, graphics and journalism.

I’m flexible, as I work for myself, I’m hard-working and more importantly, love communicating and writing. I’m used to working to deadlines.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Julie
