The 2014 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival opened with an
array of bold colours, intrinsic patterns, leather and corded knits.
DJs ambassador Jessica Gomes stepped onto the runway sporting an all white Scanlon
and Theodore outft paired with an off white fur jumper, a match made in heaven. The
show proceeded showing off infamous monochrome where leather was the standout skin of
choice.
With a marriage of monochrome, bold colours, abstract patterning and foral arrangements,
designers including Nicola Finetti, Camilla, Romance Was Born and Akin by Ginger and
Smart were in the spotlight.
Bianca Spender exhibited something blue while Jack London showed they mean business.
Lover changed the pace with lace while Cameo and Camilla and Marc remained loud with
stunning animal print.
