The Werribee Racing Club held its annual Multicultural Race Day on the 2nd of April 2016, with a fantastic array of international food vendors, music, performances, international stalls, and of course a full day of horse racing. The event highlighted not only our nation’s multicultural influences, but also the incredibly authentic and diverse cultures of Wyndham and surrounding suburbs’.

Race-goers enjoyed the exceptional racing, made use of the relaxed picnic setting on the lawns and took advantage of the entertainment and local produce. Patrons swapped their fascinators and suits for a sun hat and open neck shirt and shorts while soaking up the sun on the lush lawns and venturing through all the activities on offer. Guests were kept busy with plenty of free entertainment, whilst international live music acts, marquees and international fashions on the field attracted plenty of attention.
