LIMITED RELEASE OF 900 BOTTLES OF ARCHIE ROSE TAILORED GIN

Vintage Cellars and Archie Rose Distilling Co. collaborate for World Gin Day

Gin lovers of Australia rejoice as World Gin Day returns for its eighth year on June 11 to celebrate all things juniper infused. To mark the occasion, Vintage Cellars has collaborated with Archie Rose Distilling Co. to create a limited edition gin exclusive to Vintage Cellars stores.

Made from select pure botanical distillates, the Archie Rose Tailored Gin has been carefully blended to accentuate flavours of cassia bark, orange and Angelica root. Only 900 bottles of the one-of-akind, limited edition gin have been made and hand numbered for Australian customers.

Archie Rose Distilling Co. is a custom-designed boutique distillery and bar in Rosebery, New South Wales. Opening their doors in 2015, they became the first independent distillery in the City of Sydney in over 160 years. They are dedicated to distilling gin, vodka and whisky rich in character to honour the city it calls home.

Founder of Archie Rose Distilling Co. Will Edwards says the company believe in a hands-on approach to ensure the finest quality spirits are being produced.

“At Archie Rose we’re very focused on the details, even custom designing our distilling equipment to ensure every aspect of our production could be carefully controlled. We pride ourselves on crafting unique Tailored Gins right down to a single bottle scale” he said.

“We’re excited to celebrate World Gin Day by sharing this unique and limited edition gin with all Australians through Vintage Cellars.”

The thirst for gin globally has reached its peak over a decade with more bartenders than ever preferring to work with gin in preference to other clear spirits. Boutique gin distillers use their own methods to bring forward the spirit’s natural botanicals and spice elements, making it a fun and versatile cocktail base to play with.

As a by-product of gin’s increased popularity, the number of boutique distilleries has exploded globally. By partnering with Vintage Cellars, the Archie Rose Tailored Gin is accessible to all Australians while also holding onto its boutique charm.

Vintage Cellars Marketing Director Jon Yarnall says the retailer is committed to supporting local distillers and bringing exciting new flavours to customers.

“We are always on the hunt for local and unique, top quality product that we know our customers will love. World Gin Day is the perfect opportunity to showcase the talent of our Australian gin distillers,” he said.

Archie Rose Tailored Gin is available now for a limited time in Vintage Cellars stores nationally for $84.99 per bottle.
