The expansive, 400-seat venue commandeers a vast corner of the precinct and sports a cool, contemporary, indoor-outdoor feel with seating that spills into a beer garden setting in the centre’s tropical-styled al fresco dining quarter.

The vast, lively venue features a spacious bar, several large-screen TVs, and promises an exciting schedule of evening entertainment, including DJs.

The Bavarian Chermside is the first outside of NSW (Manly, Penrith, World Square,) and is the fast-service counterpart of the popular Bavarian Bier Cafés located at Eagle Street Pier, Broadbeach and six NSW locations: Bondi, Chatswood, Entertainment Quarter, Parramatta, Miranda, York Street.

Rockpool Dining Group Chief Executive Officer Thomas Pash said he was thrilled to be expanding the group’s Queensland footprint and opening the largest Bavarian yet.

“At The Bavarian Chermside we’re taking things up a notch: it’s our largest, liveliest venue and promises to be a huge drawcard in this stunning new dining precinct,” Mr Pash said.

“Our Bavarian Bier Cafés are firm favourites with Queensland diners and we expect their fast-service sibling The Bavarian to capture the hearts, and appetites, of the local community and visitors of Westfield Chermside.”

The Bavarian Chermside has created 70 casual and full-time positions. It takes Rockpool Dining Group’s Queensland restaurant portfolio to seven in number, including Saké Restaurant & Bar and Fratelli Famous at Eagle Street Pier, and Burger Projects at Southpoint and Edward Street.
