THE ARGYLE
With Halloween on the horizon, The Argyle precinct will transform into The Argyle Asylum from Friday 27th October to Saturday 28th October, with tricks and treats in store for guests.
Two floors, six bars and the cobblestone courtyard will be dramatically themed as an abandoned asylum with roving performers, including fire breathers and stilt walkers mingling with guests. There will be $10 Asylum cocktails each night until 10pm, served in syringes. Try them if you dare!
Thrill seekers who admit themselves to The Argyle Asylum on Friday 27th October will see performances by Jesabel, DJ I-Dee, The Faders and MINX. Guests can go truly insane on Saturday 28th October when the DJ line-up includes Brooklyn, TASS, Yoji and Mike Champion.
Entry is free before 9pm on the guest list.

EL CAMINO CANTINA
The rituals and revelry continue at Tex-Mex hangout El Camino Cantina from Tuesday 31st October to Saturday 4th November when there will be Day of the Dead feasting and festivities every day, fuelled by some exclusive tequila-based drinks.
Jose Cuervo is crafting the exclusive line-up, including the tequilas behind a $29 taco and tequila flight (three tacos paired with three tequilas) on Tuesday 31st October, a boilermaker (a beer with a shot of tequila) that pairs with a dozen Buffalo wings for $19 on Wednesday 1st November, Day of the Dead-inspired cocktails available on Friday 3rd November, and a Bloody Maria cocktail that can be included in a Bottomless Brunch package available on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November.
There will also be a lucky door prize every weekday evening of a bottle of Jose Cuervo 1800 Essentials Tequila.
El Camino’s headline event is the Day of the Dead party on Thursday 2nd November, with a mariachi band performing from 6.30pm and a DJ from 8pm. The three-course Fajita Fiesta menu ($49pp) is the star of the show, which is served platter-style for sharing.
Guests can also select from the a la carte menu.
The best Day of the Dead-costumed male and female guest will each win a $50 bar tab.
Partying continues on Saturday 4th November with another round of prizes for the best costumed guests.
In addition to the exclusive Day of the Dead drinks and events, guests can take advantage of El Camino’s daily special deals, which are always available, including:
