Memoirs of a Go-Go Dancer

Sydney author Justin Sheedy, whose work has featured in TAT Fiction Magazine, is set to launch his latest book Memoirs of a Go-Go Dancer this Saturday, 6th December.

The long-awaited sequel to his first book Goodbye Crackernight, Memoirs of a Go-Go Dancer is a ‘comic portrait of growing up in 1980s Australia’, and follows Justin through his teenage years – the terrible 80s fashions, playing rock and roll, marching against nuclear madness, and his first job out of school: becoming a go-go dancer.

Justin is also the author of warmly-received historical war novels Nor the Years Condemn and Ghosts of the Empire. In 2010, he was invited to appear at the Byron Bay Writers’ Festival.

Justin will be signing copies of Memoirs this Saturday from 10am at Berkelouw Books in Leichhardt, NSW.

His books are also available through Amazon, Dymocks and Berkelouw Books nationwide, and orderable via your local bookstore.

Also appearing: Saturday 20th December at Dymocks Chatswood NSW, 10am onwards.
