The World’s Best BBQ Chef – Charlie McKenna – will be arriving in Melbourne for the first time next week.
Direct from Chicago, Charlie is bringing his award-winning restaurant Lillie’s Q to the heart of Melbourne. For just three days, Australians will have their first chance ever to try his award winning, meat-sweat inducing BBQ deliciousness as he takes over Fancy Hanks.
Inspired by three generations of southern-style cooking, the pop up will offer family-favourites that come straight from the Lillie’s Q Chicago menu. Paying homage to his roots, Charlie will serve up unparalleled flavours from America’s deep south, using his very own range of award-winning BBQ rubs and sauces – think slow smoked pork shoulder, baby back ribs and chicken wings like no other.
