Yokocho – Melbourne
Calling all sushi enthusiasts and spice-lovers alike, Yokocho has launched a new dish concept, Sushi Roulette, a literal spin-off with salmon nigiri that extends the venue’s already popular sushi and sashimi menu that has taken the city by storm.
Set to be the perfect appetisers to fire up the palette – patrons spin the dial and must eat the piece it lands on. Out of seven nigiri pieces, two are fully loaded with a potent serving of fresh wasabi lathered underneath the raw salmon topping.
Feel the burning aftertaste for a few seconds amongst friends to start off a feast of assorted sushi and sashimi to follow. For those keen to spice up date night, couples should take to the refreshing air afforded by the signature Yokocho balcony – a good spot to cool down after the heat hit of Sushi Roulette.
Visitors will hardly break the bank with Sushi Roulette on offer for just $10 per serving.
Located in the historic Mid City Arcade on Bourke Street, the vibrant street culture of Tokyo has been reimagined through Yokocho’s minimalistic fit out and lively ambience. Nestled in the walkway of Mid City Arcade, Yokocho pays homage to tradition whilst exploring the exciting future of Japanese dining.
