BAROQ HOUSE – MELOURNE
‘Baroq House is a 17th Century themed luxurious three level mansion located in a leafy cobbled city laneway; undoubtedly one of the most glamorous and exclusive venues in Melbourne. Combining great music, impeccable service and a first class menu, this venue is where contemporary sophistication meets the glamour of the old world’.
**Recently Melbourne-based writer Amy Foyster, checked out Corporate Fridays at Baroq House. Reading of her account and happy snaps it looks a great spot to spend in ‘Melbourne After Work’.

‘Melbourne After Work’ at Baroq House is the perfect place to meet a group of friends for stylish drinks and nibbles and some great live tunes.
If you head there straight from the office like we did, you’ll likely be able to grab a spot in one of the VIP booths, where you can enjoy 2-4-1 drinks and $10 cocktails until 9pm. Friendly wait staff will serve you an array of substantial bar snacks, such as bite-sized arancini balls, slivers of vegetable frittata and even small haloumi burgers.
The white chocolate passionfruit martini is not to be missed, although many corporates seemed partial to a refreshing Corona with a slice of lime to get the night started. However, the real excitement is found at the Moet vending machine – simply buy a token from the friendly bar staff (who will also give you a tiny drinking mouthpiece to stopper your mini Moet bottle with) and purchase a bottle yourself straight from the machine.
By the time you’ve had a couple of these, the upper level tables will have cleared to make room for a dance floor, ready for this classy bar to transition into a unique, all-night dance venue.
