Melbourne – Game On from Today!
From Thursday 25th January to Sunday 28th January, Munich Brauhaus at South Wharf and The Bavarian at Westfield Knox will embrace all things Aussie.
Ease into the Australia Day weekend TODAY at both restaurants with Happy Hour (Munich Brauhaus 4-7pm, The Bavarian 4-6pm) and house DJ’s from 6pm.
A limited edition Oz Day Schnitzelmeister – that’s a 1kg schnitzel with bacon, 3 eggs and cheese ($100 and serves 4 diners) – will be available for the duration of the long weekend, alongside classic Bavarian dishes, burgers, schnitzels, sausages and shared platters.

On Friday 26th January, the Australia Day line-up includes live music from 3pm, a free BBQ snag with the purchase of a stein between 3-6pm, and Aussie Pale Ale on tap all day.
The Australian Open Women’s Doubles Final and Men’s Singles Semi-Final will be screened live, and the customer dressed in the best Australia Day outfit will score a $100 voucher.
On Saturday 27th January enjoy all that the Bavarian venues have to offer – that’s big beers, big flavours and big weekend vibes – whilst listening to the countdown of the Triple J Hottest 100 from 12pm. Tennis enthusiasts can catch live screenings of the Australian Women’s Singles Final and Men’s Doubles Final.
It’s Family Day on Sunday 28th January, when kids Under 12 can eat for free and there are face painters on site. A kid’s Petting Zoo will be available at Munich Brauhaus. The Australian Open Men’s Singles Final will be screened live at both restaurants.
