River Graze
16-18 March
Launching the opening weekend of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (16-18 March), the River Graze transforms the banks of the Yarra into a food and wine lover’s playground with Southgate restaurants serving up a range of incredible seafood dishes with international flavours and inspiration unique to each venue.
Stop by riverside stalls and sample world class Tasmanian produce from P.S. Bar + Kitchen, German bier food from Hophaus, award winning Italian and gelato from Tutto Bene, seafood pizzas from La Camera and legendary Chinese from Red Emperor.
Whether you are after freshly shucked rare Tasmanian oysters, fritto misto, kingfish hotdogs or fried prawn spring rolls, there is a wide offering of seafood delicacies that are set to get tastebuds dancing. Plus a few non-seafood bites like Hophaus’ Smoked Mini Brisket Burgers with House Sauerkraut and Cheese Sauce, and Tutto Bene’s award-winning gelato, just to ensure everyone’s covered.
On the Friday night you can also expect a range of live music from local acts. On Saturday and Sunday, the River Graze Market showcases Victoria’s many regions and fosters a sense of community with a market in the heart of the city.
