Harbouring enough prawns to feed a small village, guests will be getting their hands dirty for a one-night-only extravaganza at David’s on Tuesday 20 March in Prahran.

Paying homage to the waterways of the Shanghai countryside, a communal table lined with banana leaves will plate the evening’s succulent supply of wok-fired tiger prawns sourced from South Australia. Sixty bottles of wine from Yering Station will also be in high circulation to keep the waters flowing.

60 kg Prawns. 60 Bottles. 60 People invites guests to be upstanding, peeling back prawns shoulder-to-shoulder in complete comfort as the chef lays out the feast straight from the wok. Each person will be elbow-deep in delicious garlic, XO and chilli wok-fired prawns, so expect an endless supply of fluffy bao buns to soak up the flavoursome juices along the way.
