Hitachino Dumpling Dinner, 15 May
After last year’s sell-out event, guests can once again expect a delectable five-course dinner complete with matched craft beers from Japanese heavyweight, Hitachino Nest of Kiuchi Brewery.
Showcasing a unique variety of craft beers, the sit-down affair will serve an arrival lager to coat the palette, matched beers to compliment five servings of in-house signature dumplings, then finish with a Hitachino Umeshu to end the night on a memorable note.
Hitachino Nest craft beer is renowned for using quality ingredients that are balanced to create an impeccable brew. Guests will dine among like-minded beer aficionados with a penchant for dumplings done right.
Zhou Zhou Bar is the resident drinking den found upstairs at Oriental Teahouse. The venue is set to be buzzing on the night, with the Hitachino brew list encouraging the thirsty to try something a little left of centre. The special communal style tasting event will immerse guests in Japanese culture and provide a memorable evening for craft beer lovers.

2 Bro’s at Zhou Zhou, 17 May
Have a beer with the makers as Andrew and Dave Ong, owners of 2 Brothers Brewery, host a special evening that introduces five different beers and free-flowing yum cha-style canapés.
The passion project behind 2 Bro’s first started in Manhattan, with the Aussie expat brothers eventually bringing it back home to Melbourne to expand the family brewery. Andrew and Dave will talk about their carefully curated beer list, with their brewery celebrated for its range in fresh lagers through to moreish dark ales.
Guests will be delighted with the finale drink of choice – a twelve-month aged Blatonic Porter with only a handful of kegs left in Melbourne.
2 Bro’s at Zhou Zhou will be a lively gathering not to be missed, offering mouth watering bites from the back-bar, the chance to win prizes on the night and the opportunity to mingle with the makers over a cold pint.
